We’re now looking for a Corporate Support Assistant to join us on a one year fixed-term contract.

The Role

As a Corporate Support Assistant, you will help to provide customer, administrative and corporate support across Exmoor National Park Authority.

This is a varied role that will involve responding to switchboard and public enquiries, planning administration, Authority committee work, meetings, records management and HR and business support.

Some of your duties will include:

- Helping members of the public who want to view planning applications or receive copies of documents/decision notices

- Collecting customer payments

-  Providing administrative support across the organisation such as drafting and formatting documents, including letters, emails, reports and spreadsheets

- Logging any complaints, as well as Freedom of Information and Environmental Information requests

- Helping to update our website

About You

To join us as a Corporate Support Assistant, you will need:

- Experience of working in an administrative and customer service environment

- Good IT skills, particularly Windows-based software

- Great written and verbal communication skills

- To be educated to HNC level (or equivalent)

Experience of working within local government would be beneficial, as would an understanding of National Park purposes.

Other organisations may call this role Customer Support Administrator, Administrator, Customer Service Administrator, Corporate Support Administrator, Business Support Administrator, Customer Service Executive, or Customer Services Representative.
