Job and Person Specification Job Title:Customer Service Manager Overall Job Purpose: To Manage the service department team members, including customer service interactions, reports and repairs. In addition, you will be expected to deliver the highest level of customer service with a sales-minded attitude while developing and maintaining lasting customer relationships Responsible to:Managing Director Main Duties and Responsibilities Effectively manage team members performance, including engineers, administration and stores, to ensure team objectives and sales goals are being carried out Displays extensive working knowledge of industry standards and practices, including product details and company services offered Offers exemplary customer service, including maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers by upselling products and services and taking care of any customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally Overseeing revenue goals Manage the customer service contracts Involvement in setting and monitoring cost budgets, spend approval and relevant KPIs Visiting customers to provide a one-to-one service Meeting with other managers to discuss possible improvements to customer service. Assists with or performs administrative tasks, including ensuring meeting minutes are prepared Develops working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, and ensures service department adheres to all regulations Maintain service department systems and evaluating department efficiency Resolves service department problems and improve current service department methods to increase productivity and customer service Monitors client complaints to define patterns and work to lessen those recurring issues Regularly audits work being done and customer service being provided to ensure all standards are met and oversee that maintenance work is carried out effectively, correctly, and thoroughly Escalation contact out of hours Check and approve staff timesheets, expenses and holiday requests Service vehicle fleet management Monthly reporting Person Specification Previous experience working as a Customer Service Manager or similar role Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Strong leadership ability Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail Excellent organisational and time management skills Problem-solving skills Computer literate with the ability to you Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Teams etc.) Qualifications & Certification Secondary school level education - GCSE Level A to C in English & Maths Degree in Business Administration or Service Management (Desired)
• n the absence of formal qualifications, relevant previous experience will be considered Additional Information: Contract type: Permanent (6 months' probation) Hours: Monday to Friday (Full time) Location: Bridgwater Remuneration: £32,000 - £35,000 (Basic on 40 hours Monday to Friday)
