We are working with a highly successful London based Hedge Fund that are running an event driven, long/short equity strategy which has already amassed over $1 Billion in AUM. Due to consistent success, they are now looking to expand their London team by bringing in a mid-level Equity Execution Trader. They are current a small team of around 10 employees and are a senior team, they are currently looking to bring someone in who can really make a difference from a trading perspective. This role is to support the CIO as an execution trader, where you will be a close observer of market prices, volumes and news and provide feedback to the CIO and the wider investment team. As the sole execution trader of the business this is really for you to come in and lead this execution business and really put your own spin on it. Please see requirements below:
• Equity Trading experience from sell side/buyside
• Excellent academic backgrounds in, economics or finance.
• 3-8 years' experience with execution trading/Market Making.
• 3 years' experience with cash equities or derivatives
• Logical, analytical and numerate
• Strong work ethic
• Proactive and enthusiastic
• Good communication skills This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing Hedge Fund, where you will come into a small team and be given lots of responsibility and be part of a very credible, senior, and creative team.
