Senior Associate Risk & Compliance Our Risk & Compliance team is growing and we are looking for a Senior Associate to support the team and our Director across various tasks and initiatives in Compliance and Financial Crime matters. The team is responsible for developing programmes, processes and guidelines to identify new and emerging risks that could significantly impact our business, manage and mitigate risks through various Risk and Compliance activities, proactively engage with stakeholders and build a clear voice around Compliance matters within the business. Your Role In this role, you'll get stuck in operational compliance work, help to maintain company policies, and support with assisting various business areas understanding and embedding regulatory requirements. Topics you are likely to cover include:
• Risk and Compliance Governance
• Risk Management
• Horizon scanning
• Financial promotions
• MI and reporting
• Compliance training
• 2LOD monitoring
• Conducting compliance reviews
• Updating policies and procedures
• Training
• Complaints handling and root cause analysis
• Report drafting
• Communications and advice to 1LOD What we are looking for:
• We are looking for someone with 3 years' financial services regulatory compliance experience (good understanding of governance, control frameworks, risk management and customer outcomes).
• Strong customer and conduct risk expertise are essential.
• Significant experience in the retail sector, preferably with mortgages is required.
• Ideally, you also have experience across the mortgage customer journey (product governance, marketing and finproms, sales and advice, responsible lending, servicing, arrears and repossessions).
• You are proactive and happy to roll up your sleeves.
• You know how to turn frameworks into practical advice and guidance to the rest of the company.
• You are a proficient user of MS Office applications and GSuite.
• You possess excellent communication skills, are always approachable and emotionally intelligent.
• You are passionate about improving the home-buying experience for first-time buyers. Benefits
