Job ID: R0180334 Full/Part-Time: Full-time Regular/Temporary: Regular Listed: 2022-03-25 Location: London Position Overview Job Title: Credit Risk Officer - Credit Risk Management, Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) - Leveraged Finance (LF) Location: London Corporate Title: Vice President You will be part of the European Structured Finance Credit Team that supports multiple business units across the CIB (principally Leveraged Debt Capital Markets and additionally Global Credit Trading and Global Transactional Banking). You will support the Leveraged and Debt Capital Markets business and primarily have responsibility for managing leveraged loan and high yield bond credit and underwriting approvals, including (but not limited to) credit and cash flow analysis, review of credit terms in loan bond and derivatives documentation and interfacing with senior management and business personnel on risk issues. • Analysing new LF transactions including Leveraged Buyouts, Mergers and Acquisitions financing, Leveraged Loan participations and as well as supporting ancillary business such as Foreign Exchange / Interest Rates / commodity derivatives, transaction banking
• Providing credit recommendations and presenting to the Underwriting Committee for larger transactions when required across a wide range of industry sectors and financing situations
• Determining required credit terms and assisting in the structuring of new and amended derivatives legal documentation to achieve optimal risk / return outcomes
• Participating in interactions with internal and external auditors and regulatory authorities
• Working closely with Global Credit Analytics Function in support of the monitoring of the existing portfolio of approved deals including (but not limited to) waiver and amendment requests; impairment testing; watch list; and interaction with Enterprise Risk Management / Portfolio Management functions Your skills and experience
• Credit analysis experience, with experience in non-investment grade lending
• Analytical skills, including leveraged loan and high yield structuring, cash flow modelling / forecasting and understanding of derivative structures
• Ability to work independently under time pressure and focus on multiple transactions at once
