The key requirement is that you are familiar with (i) a day to day ongoing reporting for investment management / banks etc. and (ii) have experience with building tools / process automation in Excel, VBA, maybe Python. Risk Analyst (Advanced Excel required ) We are looking for a motivated and talented individual who will be part of our exciting journey to scale up our services and grow in the alternative investments industry. Our team creates value for EU and non-EU institutional investors (insurers, banks, pension funds), asset managers and service providers, for example third party Alternative Investment Fund Managers. The company provides regular investor reporting services for Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) Furthermore, they provide individual management consulting services to institutional clients and contribute to their success with highly specialised know-how and experience. Your Responsibilities
• Regular Data Collection & Validation: Regular collection, validation and improvement of different input data (loans, bonds, equities, participations, real estate objects, cash positions, various derivatives, fund units) via proprietary input formats as well as market standard templates, for example TPT or VAG
• Regular Reporting: Generate reports using in-house built tools in Excel, VBA, Python and based on our internal processes for different reports (look through, input management etc.)
• Initial Setup: Support of the initial setup of new funds and clients incl. discussion of the relevant data required for different reports (TPT, VAG, GroMiKV, VaR, CRR, ESG), differ-ent investor groups (banks, insurers, pensions), different investment strategies (private equity, private debt, real estate, infrastructure, fund of fund) as well as different regulatory frameworks (Solvency II, CRR II, IORP II, VAG, ESG)
• Client Support & Stakeholder Management: Ongoing communication with our clients incl. data requests, follow-ups, content feedback, answering questions, explaining new developments Your Profile Advanced excel essential , VBA , programming very useful
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or a related subject
• 1-2 years full-time working experience in a financial services organisation or an audit firm
• Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritise tasks and deliver day-to-day activities in a precise and reliable manner
• Good knowledge of financial instruments including equities, debt, real assets, derivatives as well the different instrument characteristics (e.g. market value, currency, industry sector, coupon rate, maturity etc.)
