My Client has experienced a sustained period of growth and is now in a position where they are increasing their core team of Factory Operatives The role will involve working within a Food manufacturing environment. The role is shifts Monday to Friday 6-2/2-10/10-6 rotating shifts The Factory Operator Role will involve
• Show a full understanding of, and correctly operate, all the plant and equipment within the product preparation and packing operations.
• Clean all areas of plant and equipment to achieve the necessary standards of hygiene within the allotted time.
• Carry out relevant sampling and quality checks and understand their meaning and importance.
• Be conversant with the appropriate recording and reporting systems in use within the department.
• Be continually aware of the plant's performance and ensure relevant personnel are promptly informed of any event, which is detrimental to achieving the main purpose of the job.
• Be responsible for the maintenance of adequate levels of materials within the department. Factory Operator Experience Required Experience working within a food manufacturing environment is desirable Good Literacy and Numeracy skills Attention to detail Ability to lift heavy weights (25kg) The ability to understand technical issues (plant operating conditions, etc.) This is a permanent role Factory Operator Hourly rate is £11.58 increasing once fully trained If you are seeking a permanent position, then please send your CV today Key Words Machine Operator, Machine Operative, Manufacturing Technician, Production Operative, Factory Operative
