Accounts & Audit Semi Senior

Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join our dynamic accountancy practice in Alton. This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident in preparing accounts and tax returns independently, with the opportunity to grow professionally within a supportive team.

Your Responsibilities: 

• Prepare year-end accounts for a varied client base.
• Complete corporate tax returns.
• Manage your own workload and maintain strong client relationships.
• Involved in audit work, planning, testing & reporting.
• Use software for accounts and tax-related tasks.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in an accountancy practice (essential).
• Ability to prepare accounts and tax returns independently.
• Qualified (e.g. ACA,ACCA) or part qualified/ finalist, qualified by experience.
• Effective time management skills and highly organised.
• Confident in leading and supporting junior team members as needed.
• Friendly and professional with the ability to communicate at all levels.
