Job Description

Applications are invited for the position of Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) for Crowcombe Parish Council.

Crowcombe Parish Council are a friendly and outgoing council, with a diverse mixture of backgrounds and skills and we are looking for a new Clerk!

This is a flexible, part time, paid position.

The key responsibilities of a clerk is to attend and minute Parish Council Meetings which are held monthly at The Church House on the second Thursday of each month at 18:30pm.

A clerk should have excellent time management and will be able to efficiently prioritise workloads, ensuring that Council business is conducted lawfully and efficiently, maintaining accurate financial records, managing budgets, meeting agendas and writing minutes.

Hours are approximately 8 hours per week, flexible and mostly home based.
