Are you passionate about student wellbeing and safeguarding? Do you have the drive, dedication, and knowledge to make a real difference? We are seeking an exceptional Deputy Safeguarding Lead to join our committed inclusion team in a welcoming and inclusive rural secondary college in the heart of Devon.

- Someone who is highly organised, proactive and able to manage sensitive situations with discretion and care.
- An individual with excellent interpersonal skills who thrives in a team and builds positive relationships with students, staff, families, and external agencies.
- Solid understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practices (training and CPD available for the right candidate).
- Someone who is able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, stay calm under pressure, and adapt quickly to changing daily demands.
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to implement, monitor, and review safeguarding practices across the college.
- Support staff with safeguarding concerns and liaise with relevant external agencies.
- Help create a safe, supportive environment where all students can thrive and feel heard.
Permanent position starting as soon as possible.
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours pw/40 weeks pa.
Grade E16-22 £30,518 - £33,699. Pro rata: (£27,045 to £29,864 per annum) approximate salary.
