A fantastic opportunity to join a busy and evolving family department at a time of growth and expansion.

We are recruiting for the role of a Family Paralegal to join a small, long-standing firm that has been providing legal services for decades and has strong connections with professionals, clients and the wider legal community it serves.

Under the supervision of the Head of Department, you will be guided and supported to run a small caseload of your own family matters, as well as provide valuable support and assistance to Senior fee earners on more complex cases. This is a unique opportunity to manage your own cases but also develop your knowledge and experience on more complex matters.

You will be given scope to work on all aspects of private family law, from separation and divorce, to advising on arrangements for children post separation, prenup and post-nuptial agreements, co-habitation disputes and much more.

This role is permanent. Full-time or part-time applicants will be considered.

We will be keen to receive applications from individuals with the following skills and experience;

  • Previous experience working as a Paralegal with family law cases
  • Excellent client care and good communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise their time well and work to deadlines.
  • Has a keen interest in family law, is passionate and committed to learning and developing in this specialised area.
  • Previous use of case management system is preferred, but not essential, as training can be given.
