Herdsperson

We have new contract vacancy for an experienced herdsperson to join a family farm milking 200 Holstein cows yielding just over 8,000 litres on 2 x milking, via a modern 24 x 24 herringbone with in-parlour feeders. This being part of a large farming estate.

Besides assisting with the milkings, scraping and bedding up the cows, the role entails working alongside the herd manager with all herd management activities.

A very competitive salary and accommodation off the unit is available for the successful candidate.
