HOME CARE COORDINATOR
Salary: £24k - £26K DOE
Hours: Full-time, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required.
Location: Four Marks Contract type: Permanent Karis Care Services in Four Marks provides home care, including medication administration, companionship, personal care, shopping, housekeeping, and meal preparation for older adults in the area.
We have a great team and are seeking an enthusiastic individual to support our clients and care team.
You will report to Registered Manager Judith and receive support from our administration team.
Your duties include:
- Scheduling care visits using Birdie and Care Planner software and managing caregivers.
- Carrying out initial assessments, care plan reviews, audits.
- Handling client enquiries, conducting assessments, and maintaining accurate records.
- Providing support for general office administration and aiding in the execution of daily operations.
- Participating in the on-call rotation for after hours support.
- Occasionally providing hands-on care (following appropriate training).
We seek someone who loves providing excellent customer service by phone and in person. You will spend much of your time talking to caregivers about schedules, discussing needs with clients, and taking information from potential clients.
Computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems are essential. Office experience is a must; at least 3 years of care experience.
You need to be resilient and a great team player, supporting staff and occasionally making care calls (when trained).
This position requires an Enhanced CRB check. drivers’ licence and satisfactory references.
