Joiner

Due to the growth of the business, an opportunity has opened up for a bench joiner to join a successful team at Swan Joinery LTD. They are looking for a bench joiner who has a strong understanding and background of producing doors, windows, frames, staircases and other solid timber products. Candidates will be required to work on their own initiative and take a Job on from start to finish, using traditional and modern joinery techniques. An ability to use woodworking machines would be an advantage, 2nd year apprenticeship applicants would be considered

Skills needed for Bench Joiner
- Experience in manufacturing sliding sash windows, casement windows, doors, frames and staircases
- Experience in wood working machines. (More training will be provided if needed)
- Attention to detail is key
- Ability to follow technical drawings
- Ability to work on own initiative 


Desirable skills for Bench Joiner
- Background within joinery/carpentry is essential
- Able to follow technical drawings and work on own initiative
