Job Description

Our Douglas-based firm are an Accounting and Advisory business with an international reach and focus. Owing to continued growth, they now require a Junior Statutory and Compliance Administrator to join the Compliance team.

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support, ensuring the smooth running of a busy compliance and statutory department.You will enjoy full training and there will be scope to study toward a relevant compliance qualification

Reporting to the Head of Statutory and Head of Compliance,the Junior Statutory and Compliance Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance of regulatory registers
  • Maintenance of client statutory records
  • Preparation of documents for filing with Companies Registry
  • Incorporation and dissolution of companies
  • Assisting with assessing due diligence requirements for new clients
  • Transaction screening, sanctions screening,PEP screening
  • Assisting with on-going monitoring of client entities
  • Other duties as may be reasonably requested from time to time
  • Preparing and reviewing customer risk assessments
  • Assisting with compliance monitoring reviews
  • Assisting with data collection for regulatory reporting

The ideal candidate for the role of Junior Statutory and Compliance Administrator will have:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (including Mathematics and English)
  • Good working knowledge with Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Be able to work to strict deadlines
  • Be able to work under pressure
  • Working as part of a team
  • Have good organisational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to prioritise tasks in order of importance

Desirable, but not essential:

  • Ideally at least 1 years' experience in a compliance and statutory role
