Lighting Design Apprentice

Apprenticeship in the Guildford area!

At Signify UK&I we are looking for a school leaver Lighting Design Apprentice to join our team.

During your 3-year apprenticeship, you’ll be a part of our UK&I Lighting Design Team, based in our Guildford office. This team is responsible for producing lighting designs for retailers, public areas(town & city), architectural buildings, landmark buildings with significant historic interest, football stadiums and sporting arenas.

As an apprentice, you will be enrolled with a local College/University with up to 46 days a year for study to attend university/college to complete your apprenticeship. You can choose the qualification up to degree level(provided it is linked to our business) and we will provide you with the training on the days you attend the workplace. No previous experience is necessary, we just require a ‘can do attitude’ and someone who is eager to learn and has a creative interest.

Our offices are located just off the A3 (near the Royal Surrey Hospital), with free parking for all employees, we are located within walking distance of Guildford Town and we provide a free bus shuttle service to/from the train station. We offer a variety of benefits and an hourly rate starting from £14. We have an accelerated pay structure offering 6 monthly pay reviews. Additionally subject to business performance you will receive an on target bonus of 10%, a pension option along with other flexible benefit options.
