Job Description

Role Summary: As a MEICA Site Manager, you will oversee the mechanical, electrical, and control aspects of water infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining project documentation. You'll be a key player in the successful execution of projects within the DCWW framework. Key Responsibilities: Project Management:

    • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and the site workforce.
    • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and project specifications.
    • Collaborate closely with other project stakeholders, including engineers, designers, and procurement teams.

MEICA Documentation:

    • Prepare and maintain comprehensive MEICA project documentation.
    • Document progress, issues, and any changes during project execution.
    • Support the overall project delivery by ensuring accurate records are kept.

Quality Assurance:

    • Monitor the quality of MEICA works on-site.
    • Conduct inspections and address any non-conformities promptly.
    • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance.

Budget and Schedule Management:

    • Assist in developing project schedules and resource plans.
    • Monitor progress against milestones and adjust plans as needed.
    • Manage costs within budget constraints.

Stakeholder Communication:

    • Liaise with the Project Manager, client representatives, and other stakeholders.
    • Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and achievements.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or HND/HNC in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Engineering).
  • Proven experience in managing MEICA aspects of water infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
