Job Description

Parish Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer – Sutcombe PC & Milton Damerel PC

Milton Damerel Parish Council and Sutcombe Parish Council are looking for a Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer for  5 hours  and 3 hours respectfully per week.

The Current Clerk has been employed by both Parish Councils.

The Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to the Council and, as the RFO also manages the Council’s finances.

Working mainly from home, but attending meetings each month for Milton Damerel and bi-monthly for Sutcombe.

Administration for the meetings of the Council including preparing agendas and papers for meetings, taking the minutes, monitoring actions and implementing decisions made at meetings.

Maintaining the Council websites.

The successful applicant must have strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills as well as good IT skills including in Microsoft Office.

The Council is offering pay on the NALC scale LC1 SCP 7.
