Job Description

Vacancy: Self-Employed General Handyperson

 North Tawton Town Council is seeking a reliable, self-employed General Handyperson to work approximately 17 hours per month.
To start 1st April 2026

Duties will include:
· Carrying out routine health and safety checks on the Councils assets
· Litter picking within council areas
· Office cleaning
· General maintenance and minor repair work including minor building works, electrical plumbing and drainage works 
· Other reasonable tasks as required by the Council

The successful applicant must be dependable, able to work independently, and have experience in general maintenance tasks.
