One of our clients who provide corporate and fiduciary services to clients around the world is experiencing growth within the business and is looking to expand the team with the addition of a Senior Administrator within the Fund Services team.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Fund Services, the Senior Administrator will:
- On instruction from the Investment Manager, negotiating all borrowing arrangements and supervising the implementation of such arrangements
- Ensuring that the Fund has agreed and signed all service agreements and that all terms and conditions of those agreements are being adhered to
- Ensuring that the Fund is fully compliant with its Offering Document and Investment Parameters therein
- Declaring the suspension of the valuation of the net assets of the Fund when conditions exist that requires a suspension
- Preparation of any reports, notices and other documents, which the Fund is required to issue to shareholders in respect of any meetings of shareholders convened
- Preparation of regular reports giving details of the activities and results of the Fund for issue to the Directors of the Fund
- As and when instructed by the Directors of the Fund, making arrangements for an increase in the authorised share capital of the Fund
- Carry out all necessary filings to the appropriate regulatory bodies or Stock Exchanges on which the Fund is listed
- Receive applications for investment into the Fund
- Determine whether or not an applicant for investment in the Fund is a Qualified Holder as defined in the Offering Document of the Fund and is permitted to hold or continue to hold participating shares in the Fund
- Carry out customer due diligence checks ("CDD") for initial applications for investment and ongoing CDD monitoring
- Allotment of participating shares
- Determine the amount payable to or by the Fund on the issue and/or redemption of participating shares
- Apply equalisation adjustments at the point of issue and/or redemption of participating shares
- Arrange for the publication of the subscription and redemption price
- Preparation of all certificates, statements and notices which the Fund is required to issue relating to the issue and/or redemption of participating shares
- Maintenance of the share register
- Receive, manage and deal with all shareholder queries
The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Administrator role will have:
- A minimum of 5 years funds experience
- Experienced in Financial Services (Trust and Company) administration functions
- History of high-quality delivery of client service
- Good organisation and control of own workflow
- Understanding of the importance of and application of strong corporate governance
- Initiative-taking and can work under pressure
- A practical understanding and application of high-quality client service delivery
- Ability to identify problems and resolve
- Good verbal, written communication, and people skills, with the ability to present concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to identify, mitigate and manage operational risk and controls within own area
- Clear understanding of regulatory requirements
- Ability to deal with clients and professional advisors thereby showing a commitment to providing a quality service
- Able to work on own initiative and to be highly disciplined
