Job Description

Blackawton Community Shop IS RECRUITING for a new SHOP MANAGER to take over the running of our thriving, friendly village shop.

At the heart of the village, the Community Shop is a not-for-profit body run for the benefit of the local community, with volunteer staff and led by a management committee.

We are seeking a Manager to run all commercial aspects of the shop and continue to develop it as a resource for the village.

Approximately 25 hours/week (total & daily hours flexible/negotiable.

Permanent post, holiday & pension entitlement).

Responsibility for ordering, pricing, stock management etc; day-to-day running of the shop; managing the volunteer team; you will also be trained to administer the Post Office counter. Supported in all the above by an Assistant Manager
