Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Trainee Accountant to join our dynamic accountancy practice in Alton. This role suited to someone with some accounts experience, with the opportunity to grow professionally within a supportive team.

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Preparation of year-end accounts for a varied client base.
  • Bookkeeping duties.
  • Preparation of VAT returns.
  • Calculating corporate tax returns.
  • Use software for accounts and tax-related tasks.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in an accountancy practice (essential).
  • Qualified AAT or studier, qualified by experience.
  • Be committed to your studies to ensure long-term progression and success.
  • Availability to work in Alton.
